Community Support
Each year CFUW Perth & District members hold fundraising events — including our Home & Garden Tour and bake sale for the Rideau Lakes Cylce Tour — to raise money we contribute to community libraries for children's summer reading programs and non-profit community service agencies in Lanark County.

In October of 2023, the CFUW Perth and District Education, Literacy and the Arts Committee provided six local libraries with $600 each to support delivery of literacy programs for children in the summer of 2024.
Early literacy provides a strong foundation for success in school, and we are pleased to support the creative programming offered to local children in their libraries.
Cheques were presented by members of the Education, LItearcy and the Arts group to the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library, the Carleton Place Public Library, the Lanark Highlands Public Library, the Perth and District Union Library, the Rideau Lakes Public Library, and the Smiths Falls Public Library.
