Cycling Sisters #1
This cycling group is now in our fourth year where we enjoy weekly recreational cycle excursions of approximately 20-25 kilometres. Preferably on paved bicycle paths or country roads, but also on rail trails or wherever a path might lead us. For planning, we normally meet on Tuesdays at 10 and cycle for approximately 90 minutes. However, we’re a flexible group and we sometimes adjust the time due to weather or the day due to special circumstances. Often lunch is in a quaint small town restaurant, or where one is unavailable, we pack a picnic lunch to enjoy the view and company. Or we might plan a pot luck or BBQ. We normally start in May once the weather is warmer and cycle until October or November depending upon conditions. Participants take turns finding the road less travelled and leading us on a new adventure each week. Come join us!
French Conversation
This group meets monthly in members’ homes on the 3rd Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm to discuss various topics in French. The hostess serves light refreshments. Members should be fluent in French fluency, but some rustiness is fine. Come out to a meeting to decide if this group is for you! New members always welcome.
Golf Group #2
A fun, friendly group of women who enjoy a game of 9 holes at some courses close to Perth Monday mornings. We play from May until October weather permitting. In 2025 we will be playing best ball weekly with 3 foursomes. We often stay for lunch or a beverage after the game and to socialize.
Intrepid Hikers
Members signing up for this group need to be fit and have a good pair of hiking boots, appropriate clothing, and a hiking pole (optional). The club meets every Thursday at Conlon Farms for departure by carpool to various pre-determined trails. The hike lasts about 1.5 hrs. In the winter members might use snowshoes or ice grippers, if necessary. Coffee/lunch at a local restaurant may follow the hike.

Sunday Night Dinner #2 *NEW*
Not a potluck, not necessarily gourmet, definitely NOT takeout, but an old-fashioned, sit-down at a beautifully set table to enjoy a delicious home cooked meal with pleasant company. If you love food, love to cook, and perhaps have no one to do it for (or even if you do, but just want to share a meal with someone else for a change) this may be something that might interest you. Members meet as often as they choose, taking their turn as host with 6 guests per table, as that seems to be a manageable number to host and prepare for. It also enables small group conversation and gives everyone a chance to fully participate. A group larger than that becomes a different experience. 6 members needed.
Wine Tasting
Wine tasting will meet monthly or as organized between September and June. Expand your palette, and join fellow members with or without partners or a guest to enjoy wine and food pairings in local restaurants, in member’s homes, a local vineyard, or wherever the organizer would like to gather. Group members take turns making the arrangements. Or much easier to arrange with the help of another member or two. Individual event organizers to indicate minimum/maximum participants as determined by venue. It is anticipated that the wine tasting events will be held during the evening. The day and time will be determined by the event organizer(s).

All skill levels welcome. Players must be fully vaccinated.
