About The Event
Did you know that 25% of Canadian menstruators are forced to choose between buying menstrual products or other essential basic essentials? The recurring expense of these necessary monthly hygiene products is problematic for many, particularly those earning less than $40,000 a year. And when they can't afford to purchase supplies, they miss school or work?
Please join CFUW Perth & District's 3rd Annual Period Product Drive where we gather donated menstrual products, supplies and gift cards and provide to The Table Community Food Centre.
The Period Product Drive is on March 18th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Perth during CFUW Perth & District’s general meeting.
What can be donated?
Disposable pads
Disposable tampons
Disposable underwear
Reusable pads and underwear
Menstrual cups
Gift cards
Donations are also welcome
Local pharmacies and grocers, friends of The Table, the Lioness Club and other clubs and groups have generously donated menstrual products and cash to benefit menstruating women in the area.
If you can't make it to our drop off on March 18, donations are welcome at The Table anytime!
