Join your Environment Committee for an evening of inspiration and learning from three local speakers who will share their knowledge, experience and passion about using native plants for gardening and habitat restoration. Each one of us can help counter climate change and habitat loss by planting even just a small garden of native flowers. Come and learn about how such a tiny effort can have such a big impact on restoring nature. This is a hybrid meeting.
Dr. Shelley Ball, biologist and CFUW Environment Chair will introduce us to why the preservation and restoration of native habitat is so critical and how we can each play a role in native habitat restoration in our own
backyards.
