Our Thanksgiving weekend book and bake sale was a great success. We cleared over $2000! Thanks to those who donated books and baking, those who helped set up, run, and tear down, the Perth businesses who allowed us to place our posters on their premises, and to Lake 88, the events calendars, and local publications that helped us to advertise this event. Special thanks to Metro Perth for the donation of the shopping bags and to the Perth Upon Tay Legion for your support. The money raised will go to our advocacy work for education of women and girls locally, nationally, and internationally. Thanks all!

You don’t want to miss the CFUW Perth & District Book & Bake Sale! Browse gently used books, and even puzzles, to buy either for yourself, or for gifts for the holiday season. Purchase delicious home-baked goods just in time for Thanksgiving!

Join us this Saturday October 7th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Perth Legion, 26 Beckwith St. E. We accept cash or debit.

All proceeds from this fundraising event support CFUW women’s education and community enhancement.

MEMBERS: Both the books and baking can be dropped off at the Perth Legion on Friday between noon and 5 p.m.
