Turtles are one of the most endangered groups of species in Canada. Turtles face many threats including the loss of wetlands, road mortality, and high rates of nest predation.

Join David Seburn, freshwater turtle specialist with the Canadian Wildlife Federation on Monday, April 25 as he addresses CFUW Perth & District to :

  • which species of turtles we have in eastern Ontario,

  • why turtles are so at risk,

  • what the Canadian Wildlife Federation is doing for turtle conservation, and

  • how everyone can help the turtles.

Join us in person at the Royal Canadian Legion, or by Zoom. Doors open at 6:30 and the presentation will begin at 7:00 pm. To join by Zoom, please email us to register.
