An Impressive Group of Young Women Representing A Diverse Range of Post-Secondary Programs
This year’s impressive group of young women are studying in a diverse range of programs, including Registered Practical Nurse, Livestock Technician, Concurrent Education, Gender and Women’s Studies, Life Sciences and Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Criminology and Legal Studies, Psychology, Midwifery, and Arts and Sciences.
Enabling Young Women to Prepare for Careers Committed to Community Engagement
These young women share a commitment to community engagement and are preparing for careers that will enable them to help others, address social inequalities, and improve health care technology and delivery. Their studies will take them to Nova Scotia, Alberta, and across Ontario. We wish them the best in their post-secondary journeys!
CFUW's Continuing Committment to Empowering Women Through Post-Secondary Education
Recognizing that post-secondary education contributes to women’s empowerment, CFUW dedicates a significant amount of the funds we raise to these education awards. Including the $22,000 provided for this year’s recipients, our club has provided $294,025 to support Perth and District women studying at universities and colleges. We are grateful to our community partners for their generous support of the fundraising activities that allow us to achieve our vision of supporting the advancement of girls and women through education and advocacy.
