CFUW Open House / Welcome Back

We’re growing! Join us as a returning, or new member, of one of the most dynamic women’s clubs in Canada! With 40 new members in the last year, and thousands of dollars in scholarships distributed to local young women, it is fair to say CFUW Perth and District is back for another year and is blossoming.

We are excited to welcome back our 140+ current members at the annual Open House.

Welcome. Join us for an evening of socializing, renewing memberships and registering for one or more of the 34 special interest groups. Enjoy finger foods, pay your dues and join a book club, bridge, walking group, cycling or myriad other interest groups. This is an excellent opportunity to encourage a friend to join.

A recent survey showed that 77 percent of new members joined because a CFUW friend invited them to the Open House or a monthly meeting. Here is your chance to become an ambassador of CFUW Perth and District by inviting a friend, or indeed friends, to the Open House. Welcome. Don’t know anyone who is a member of our club? Don’t be shy! Join us and meet 140+ new like-minded friends!

Being a member of CFUW is fun, but it is also serious business! We provide educational scholarships to young women in the community through fundraising efforts during the year. Additionally, CFUW Perth and District is committed to advocating for social justice, education literacy and the arts, human rights, and the environment. Members are encouraged to participate in the running of the club from joining the executive to starting a new interest group. The degree to which you immerse yourself is very individual and is determined by personal interests, free time and previous experience. All levels of participation are supported and encouraged.
